Since March 1964, soaring enthusiasts have been flying gliders in the Pittsburgh Soaring Club. We are approximately 40 members, maintain and share a small fleet of aircraft. We offer full instruction from the very beginning to advanced competitive soaring and organize a number of trips and social events. Our soaring season is from April to October yearly and we fly from Bandel Airport. New members and visitors are welcome.
